First Consumers National Bank, Fcnb ripoff, refund check Portland Oregon

I was a customer of FCNB years ago, but let the account go due to their unscrupulous dealings. Capitol One picked up my old debt from them, and now it is paid off. (I like Capitol One)

I just got a "refund check" from them for $227.09 due to a class action lawsuit:
Brenda M Sims and Charles Hogencamp vs FCNB
Supreme Court of NY, County of NY, Index no. 01/604536

Now, I don't know what to think of this check. I looked the suit up on the NY supreme court website, and it is a real lawsuit. The letter that accompanies the check says,

"Dear Clamaint,
Under the terms of the Court-approved settlement, the attached check represents full payment as it relates to the above class action. By cashing the attached check, the payee acknowledges it has received all compensation to which it is due under Sims vs FCNB settlement. Further, the payee releases any and all claims that the payee may have pertaining to the administration of the settlemt and payee's right to recieve compensation under the settlement.'

There is no phone number attached to call for info, just the PO box. I am going to send a letter to inquire about this.

Does anyone out there know anything about this? the $227 would come in handy right now, but I don't want to agree to anything i don't want to.
